Park Construction Updates

We’re thrilled to welcome you back for another year of adventure and connection with nature.

All trails are open for day use and backcountry exploration.
Please note: The Pine Bridge crossing is temporarily closed. Hikers and paddlers will need to backtrack at that point.

As part of our ongoing $8 million construction project to complete the Eco Resort & Campground by 2027, the park will be under construction Monday to Friday from May 26 to August 15.
We appreciate your patience as we work to enhance your future park experience.

Over the winter, we built the new Mahzenazing Lake Road, which will provide access to our exciting new Lakefront Recreational Area.

While we had hoped to open this by Opening Weekend, construction delays due to extreme winter conditions and half-load road restrictions have pushed the timeline.
The Lakefront Road will now open tentatively on August 1 on weekends only, once construction is completed.

Starting June 27, our campground and gatehouse are open 7 days a week.
